Sir Steve & Friends Skydive for Disability Snowsport UK

10 July 2009 No Comment

Today, a team of charity sky-divers will be leaping from a plane to try and raise £25,000 for Disability Snowsport UK. The team, led by Sir Steve Redgrave, features a range of ski industry famous faces including Alain Baxter, Crystal Ski’s Mathew Prior and Ian Davis, BASI Chairman Andrew Lockerbie and the charity’s CEO Fiona Young.

Right about now the team will be 13,000 feet in the air, maybe wishing they had stayed at home. If you want to help the skydivers reach the target figure, head to justgiving.com and give some cash for the cause. Disability Snowsport UK has been giving people with a disability the opportunity to ski and snowboard for almost 30 years.

Check back soon to see how they all got on and for an update on the donation total.
