BA will now pay for carriage on sports equipment

Folks at ski-buzz weren’t exactly over the moon when BA announced its revised baggage policy – especially as tickets for tour operators are not issued until 4 weeks prior to departure. This meant that those who booked their ski holiday through a tour operator travelling on, let’s say, the 1st September, would not have been able to avoid the new charges – only tickets issued prior to the 31st of July would be safe.

However, an agreement with BA now means their policy will fall in line for tour operators. If you booked your ski holiday before 31st July, Crystal will be in touch with you to alert you of this welcome news.

    Good news.

We always felt that Crystal Ski should be able to represent the interest of its clients that had booked before 31st July and commend Cystal Ski for (presumably) taking up the issue with BA.

We now look forward to receiving confirmation of this in writing from Crystal Ski.

    Well done and thank you.
