Even better buys from Vancouver 2010… and it still hasn’t started

If you touch it, you have to pay for it.
As avid readers of our ski blog, you will no doubt remember my venture into the world of Vancouver 2010 merchandise. For those of you who have only recented joined us at ski-buzz, take a look at the good buys from Vancouver 2010 that I recommended many months ago. Well, Vancouver is the Winter Olympic venue that keeps on giving, with more products being added every week. I know you’re as excited as me so keep on reading for the latest and greatest offerings from the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
So, with 5 months to go til the long-awaited Winter Olympics finally kick off, we’re heading back to Vancouver to see what else we can lay our hands on. As you remember, I gave each product a medal position based on how good it was (very Olympic and extremely clever). This time I have awarded three products positions based on their finishing times as you will notice below, Personal Best, Olympic Record and new World Record. Why am I explaining this when it’s all so obvious? Anywho, take a peak at the best of the rest…
PB – White Stick Cow Bell
This may look pretty dull to the untrained eye but give it a quick shake and you’ll learn. Annoy absolutely anyone you want to with the noise that resonates out of what the website calls the ‘spectator’s favourite’. Spot on!
OR – Purdy’s Box of Assorted Chocolates
Tell her, or him, that you love them with a box of Vancouver 2010 Olympic Chocolates. It doesn’t matter that they probably won’t taste amazing because they come in an official box with the excellently-designed 2010 logo on it.
WR – Quatchi Plush Mascot Slippers
These can’t have been available when I last checked – they are unforgettable. They look comfortable, cool, well-designed, imaginative and…. they’re only available in kids’ sizes!! WHAT!? I hate my stupid size 10 feet. Might have to try the old ugly sisters trick from Cinderella. Anyway, if you’re lucky enough to fit these slippers then buy them – no questions asked.
Roll on February when we can all put our massive feet into ridiculously small slippers, eat vast amounts of chocolates, ring a cow bell and watch our glorious Team GB romp home with multiple gold medals. “God save our gracious queen…!”
