London Freeze 2009 - the skiers

London Freeze will feature some of the world's best skiers and boarders

Enter our new competition and you could win London Freeze 2009 tickets.

Just over two weeks until Battersea Power Station turns into the coolest venue in the UK when London Freezes for the weekend. I don’t need to explain what the London Freeze is because you should already know. If not, don’t be too ashamed but quickly read our London Freeze guide pretend you knew all along.

All you need to do now is keep up-to-date with all the event’s news and views. You can do that right here as we overwhelm you with everything important that’s happening with London Freeze. Find out who’s there, who’s not and what is going to happen simply by sticking with your friendly ski blog at Ski Buzz.

Anyway, with this year’s coolest weekend so far, people from all over the UK will be hitting London to see some of the world’s best skiers. We have already given you the London Freeze snowboarders, so now it’s the skiers’ turn to take centre stage.

London Freeze 2009 – the skiers so far

Simon Dumont (World Record Big Air)
Jacob Wester (Air We Go Gold Medalist)
Colby West (Slopestyle Medalist)
Shinji Osada (Canada Cup Gold Mdalist)
Jossi Wells (X Games Medalist)
TJ Schiller (X Games Gold Medalist)

Plus a lorry-load of skiers yet to be announced…

Skiers and snowboarders still tend to have a competitive nature and want to prove that their sport is the superior. We won’t be making any rash statements about which is better but take a look at our video of these guys showing what you can do on a set of skis – it may just influence your opinion.
