Orbital – Friday
Formed by two brothers in Sevenoaks, Kent in 1989. Went on to become a major part of the British electronica scene of the 1990s with mainstream success following an appearance at the 1994 Glastonbury Festival. After breaking up in 2004, Orbital reformed in 2008 to take part in a number of live gigs – including their much-anticipated appearance at London Freeze 09.
Eagles of Death Metal – Saturday
The Eagles of Death Metal are an American band with Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme as their primary members. Playing a mixture of garage rock with a touch of bluegrass, the band have been performing on and off since 1998 and have produced 3 studio albums in that time.
Friendly Fires – Sunday
One of the UK’s hottest new bands, the band members first met at St. Albans School. Originally called First Day Back, the name Friendly Fires first appeared after the time at university. Having changed direction to a dance-based sound, the band were recently nominated for the Mercury Music Prize, announcing their entrance into the über-cool music scene.
