The brand new Canadian Rockies Express

The 2009/10 ski season has seen the unveiling of Jasper’s brand new quad chairlift – the Canadian Rockies Express. Adding this to the great snow conditions already showing in Jasper and the new ski season has started even better than expected.

Marmot Basin now boasts the largest high-speed chairlift in the Canadian Rockies with a length of 2.3km and a height of 600 vertical metres.

The Canadian Rockies Express will be able to carry up to 2,400 passengers per hour, making it far more attractive to skiers during the busy winter ski season.

This year could be the best time to ski the fantastic slopes of Jasper.
