So, the Eddie ‘the Eagle’ Edwards Movie is back on. Not only that, filming is set to begin next month. And it’s only got Rupert blooming Grint in the lead role! Yep, that’s Rupert Grint of Harry Potter fame.

Great news for all those Eddie ‘the Eagle’ Edwards fans out there. We know there are a lot of you. The world’s most famous ’ski-dropper’ will now be immortalised in the comedy biopic that was orginally set to star Steve Coogan. A move that initially angered Eddie as Coogan is in his 40s, while Edwards was only 24 when he became a global phenomenon at the 1988 Calgary Olympics. We have yet to hear whether he’s more happy with the man that brought Ron Weasley to life.
