It’s here…Crystal Ski Fest 2010
Crystal Ski Fest takes place in Sestriere, Italy, from 14th
– 21st March 2010 for what promises to be an amazing event with teams competing in a speed ski competition, a bumps event, a parallel slalom and a giant slalom.
Previously known as the Crystal Ski Challenge, this year introduces a beginner’s package which allows new skiers the chance to learn alongside a great group of ski enthusiasts.
Everyone can benefit from race training from the British Ski Academy’s own trainers and instructors from the British Association of Ski Instructors (BASI). Olympians Sir Steve Redgrave and Ben Hunt-Davis will be there and are rumoured to already be in training!
Sestriere gained international renown during February 1997 when it hosted the World Cup Ski Races and it was selected to host the 2006 Winter Olympics. Now an international resort, it is part of the famous ‘Milky Way’ ski circuit, an area with over 400kms of pistes with skiing for all grades in spectacular scenery.
There’ll be plenty of opportunities to relax, have fun and participate in some fantastic skiing and après ski, culminating in a great VIP party with loads of great prizes at the end of the week!
