Paragliding By Moonlight At Nendaz

2 February 2010 No Comment

Sunset at Nendaz

Nendaz, near to Verbier in the Swiss 4 Valleys, has introduced an unusual attraction this winter – hang-gliding by moonlight.

This rather energetic evening begins by climbing the slopes in snowshoes with the initial reward of a delicious fondue served in an igloo especially constructed for the occasion, or if conditions are not good for igloo-building, in a mountain hut.

The evening ends with a return to the valley with a tandem paraglider flight by moonlight. The activity is organised by Joël Debons of Adamair (www.adamair.ch) and costs 250 Swiss Francs per person.
