Sapporo Snow Sculptures

At the Sapporo Snow Festival 2010, it was the 37th international snow sculpture contest. 14 countries sculpted snow like their lives depended on it. There were chisels banging, hearts pounding and snow slowly melting. And then it was all over. So, after one of the best ever snow sculpture competitions – we can announce that the winner is….

……Thailand.

Congratulations to Mr. Kusol Bonkobsongserm, Mr. Kritsana Wongtes and Mr. Kritsada Wongtes of the victorious Thailand team.

The final standings were as follows:
1st – Thailand
2nd – New Zealand
3rd – Hong Kong
4th – Russia
5th – Finland
