A drunken man is reported to have stolen an ambulance that had been called to the Tyrol Basin Ski and Snowboard Area in Wisconsin, USA last Monday. The man, who is reported to have been from the Chicago area and drunk at the time, jumped in to the ambulance, which had its engine running, and drove it around the ski area parking lot.

The ambulance had medics treating an injured skier in the back at the time. Local police are reported to have managed to get in to the vehicle and arrest the 24 year old man concerned.
