Skiinfo’s snow reports are now available on the iPhone thanks to a new app from the world’s leading snow information provider. The new application allows users to search for snow data from more than 1500 ski resorts in Europe.

The program gives daily updates of snowfall, current weather, snow depth statistics, ski-lift status and comments from other users of the service. The information is available in a choice of 10 languages, including English, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch and Polish.

“We decided to develop an iPhone app following requests from users of Mac1 and iPod,” said developer Henrik Halvorsen Hortemo.
“It follows our success with our widget for Mac OS X so we saw the potential for a dedicated program for the iPhone.”

The “Skiinfo Snow Report” is available in the App Store for £1.19.
