So April may be fast approaching and the 10/11 season is coming to an end. It doesn’t matter here. We’ve still got plenty of skiing and snowboarding news to keep you going. From Scotland to Vancouver, summer skiing to 80 year old skiers – take your pick from our mixed bag of ski news.

SKIDATA Launches Lift Tickets From Your iPhone App
SKIDATA has launched a new iSkiPass application allowing users to quickly and securely buy a ski pass from their iPhone. This solution is the first ski pass reservation application for iPhones. It is immediately available on the App Store – under “iSkiPass” – and will soon be accessible on other mobile platforms. Read full story….

Les 2 Alpes Preview 2010 Summer Ski Season
Les 2 Alpes has announced it will open for the summer from June 16 to August 28. The ski lifts are open 7 days a week, from 7.15 am to 12.30pm for skiers and until 4.30pm for walkers and mountain bikers with fast access thanks to the “Jandri Express” cable car. Read full story….

2010 Women Freeride World Champions Crowned
More than six thousand spectators watched the world’s best female freeride skiers and snowboarders take on the impressive 600 vertical metre face of the Bec des Rosses in Verbier, Switzerland, for the Nissan Xtreme by Swatch, celebrating its 15th edition. Read full story….
