Crystal Ski Fest 2010 Results
The Crystal Ski Fest returned on March 14th 2010 for its sixth successive (and successful) year. This year it was Sestriere’s turn to host a week of skiing competitions and training programmes. Forget the training for now, you’re here to find out who won and who lost. So, here are those all important results from Ski Fest 2010…
Giant Slalom Individual Results
The big winners were Lynn Sharp, Georgia Hood, James Fox and Benji Millard. There were plenty of great performances including Crystal’s Ian Davis with a final time of 58.10 seconds to finish 4th in Category 0. And we’ve got to mention that in the battle of the Redgraves, Natalie outpaced Sir Steve by 0.61 seconds.

Giant Slalom Team Results
And the winners are Team Lycra with Olympic pedigree of Ben Hunt-Davis and Sir Steve Redgrave. The team was completed by Sir Steve’s daughter Natalie and Ian Davis, who recorded the fastest individual run of 28.69.

Speed Race Winners
So, who was the fastest down the slopes this year? You probably won’t be surprised to hear that 5-time Olympic Gold Medallist Sir Steve Redgrave pipped fellow Olympian Ben Hunt-Davis. Ski Challenge regular Jago Brown completed the Top 3. In Category 2, Ewan White and Jonathan Muir were the only skiers to top 70km/h. Jaquelyn Lawson beat the competition with a speed of 66.71 in category 3.

Relay Results
Good performances all round in this one with the semi-finals made up of Muir 1, Salisbury 1, Team Redgrave and Team 11. Muir 1 and Team Redgrave met in the final with Muir 1 victorious.
