When you’re out on the slopes next season, you’ll now find it easier than ever to spot your Crystal team. All our ski reps will be sporting fashionable green jackets from December 2011. As the UK’s number 1 ski  operator, Crystal lead the way with innovative new ideas such as Crystal Ski + and the new Crystal Riders’ Lodges for next winter. So it was time to get the Crystal staff some new, fashionable threads to make them stand out on the slopes too!

Crystal in-resort staff have been wearing black jackets for several seasons, so an overhaul was due. We asked Overseas Operations Manager Nial Mclean about the reason for the change to green from the traditional black:

“At Crystal our main priority is to be approachable and make sure we’re here for our customers at all times. We’ve been listening to feedback from our customers and staff and one theme that emerged was that the black jackets can be tricky to spot – whether on the slopes during our ski escorting service, at the airport, or around resort. So we’ve innovated a fresh and bright new approach to our jackets by going green. It sets us apart from other tour operators by making our staff very easy to spot for customers, whilst being on-trend and practical for our staff to wear.”

Early trials of the uniform out in resort at the end of the previous ski season have proved very popular, and if you were in Alpe d’Huez in April you may have got a sneaky peek – this was where we headed for our photoshoot to update our images for the forthcoming Crystal Ski brochure (which will be released at the end of July), as well as on our website.
