Are you considering your first ski or snowboarding holiday?

Perhaps, like 300,000 other Brits, you’ll be hitting the mountains in France for your ski holiday – the most popular destination for British skiers year after year.

Following last week’s skiing in France infographic, Crystal Ski, the the UK’s biggest ski tour operator  have published a Beginner’s guide to skiing in France – with an ever so slightly sarcastic twist .

This Q&A guide covers where to go skiing in France, how to get there, weather, snow conditions, the basics of skiing, lifts and the slopes – all helping you to enjoy your first week on the snow.

Unfortunately though, John, the resident office cynic at Crystal Ski got wind of this little project and insisted on making his own, erm, unique contribution to this skiing bible.
