Snow Report – Aspen buried under 86cm of snowfall

Aspen/Snowmass received more than 34 inches (86 cm) of snowfall in the last week. As ever, skiers and boarders were more than willing to take advantage of the powder.
With such a decent dump in February, thing are looking good for some spring skiing so Aspen could be the place to ski in 2010.

CairnGorm Closed For A Week By Snow

CairnGorm Mountain in Scotland was closed for the past week as staff attempted to dig the resort out from ‘too much snow.’ The lower part of the ski area re-opened on Monday 18th January and staff are now working to re-open the upper half.
